My Approach – How I Work

My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, deep intuition, and presence. I believe in creating a gentle, non-judgmental space where you feel safe to explore your emotions, your story, and your truth. I don’t offer quick fixes or impose solutions. Instead, I walk alongside you as a companion on your inner journey – one that unfolds at your own pace and in your own rhythm.

I draw from a variety of modalities to meet you where you are, including:

  • Humanistic and Person-Centred Counselling: At the heart of my work is the belief that you already carry within you the resources for healing and growth. My role is to provide empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, so that you can reconnect with your own inner wisdom.

  • Nature-Based Therapy: Reconnecting with the natural world can support emotional regulation, deepen self-awareness, and restore a sense of balance. Whether through guided walks, metaphors drawn from nature, or somatic grounding techniques, this approach invites the body and senses into the healing process.

  • Mindfulness and Spiritual Practices: These practices offer tools to cultivate stillness, presence, and compassion. Whether rooted in breathwork, meditation, ritual, or contemplative inquiry, they help nurture a deeper relationship with yourself and with life as it is.

  • Expressive Arts, Journaling, and Creative Tools: Creativity opens doors to inner landscapes that words alone cannot reach. I invite the use of intuitive writing, art-making, and symbolic expression to support insight, integration, and self-expression.
